About EZTrack.
EZTrack is Neurologic Solutions’ premiere product based on the novel concept of neural fragility. EZTrack is a software analytics tool that can be used to assist in Neurosurgical planning of Epilepsy cases. With a few short commands and within minutes, EZTrack produces clear and easily interpretable figures in the form of spatio-temporal heatmaps that will quickly highlight regions of potential interest.

EZTrack was used in a cross validation of predicting surgical outcome for 91 cases – correctly predicting outcome in 76% of cases compared to the “clinical operating point” of 48% for the same cases

Patient 01 had a successful surgical resection (Engel 1), while patients 26 and 40 had unsuccessful surgeries (Engel 4 and 3 respectively). The fragility metric has high agreement with the annotated SOZ in surgical success cases, but not in failed cases, indicating either an incorrect or incomplete SOZ annotation, or improper placement of depth electrodes.

EZTrack-Persyst
For those who do not wish to use a Command Line Interface for analysis, NeuroLogic is developing a research product* that will allow EZTrack users to leverage the Persyst platform. Users can load data into the Persyst GUI and use the provided EZTrack plugin to select the data of interest as well as any hyperparameters needed for analysis. Within minutes, a heatmap will be generated**.
* Note that this product is for research only, and will require an IRB for use.
** The actual analysis is performed via Amazon Web Services, so EZTrack will need permission to transfer data

What is EZTrack-Persyst?
EZTrack-Persyst is a research tool that provides the EZTrack experience in a convenient-to-use Graphical User Interface. By leveraging Persyst’s powerful platform, computing the fragility of an EEG network has never been easier. With a few clicks, a user can submit any data loaded into Persyst to EZTrack’s cloud platform for analysis and retrieve a heatmap in minutes.
What inputs are required for EZTrack-Persyst?
As with EZTrack, EZTrack-Persyst requires both an EEG file and an electrode metadata file. EZTrack-Persyst leverages Persyst’s expansive file format reading capabilities to allow for most EEG file formats to be usable on this platform. The electrode metadata
process has also been simplified via an easy-to-use GUI that the user can use to select and/or annotate electrodes and load and/or save completed montages.
How can I use EZTrack-Persyst?
Unlike EZTrack, EZTrack-Persyst does not have FDA 510K clearance. Usage of this research tool will require an IRB between your institution and Neurologic.
